Progression Guide — Milestones and Goals

WEST WOOD: REMAKE progression is defined by Roblox’s official badge system. Twenty-three enabled badges span joining, reputation, season survival, risk, shop interactions, night deliveries, and combat encounters. No hidden progression system is publicly documented — the badges are the published roadmap.

This guide orders those milestones efficiently and flags what still needs live testing versus what is confirmed by the badge API.

How progression works

The official badge endpoint returns 23 enabled badges for Universe 10598641427. Their descriptions confirm goals, not hidden formulas. They do not reveal how quickly reputation rises, how risk changes, how long a season lasts, where a crate spawns, how much an item costs, or what a medallion does.

Progress is individual unless badge conditions explicitly state shared or group effects. Check your Roblox badge inventory after completing a condition. Beta triggers can be delayed or incomplete, and some conditions depend on night or no-death wording that is easy to miss.

Efficient milestone order

Start with join, beta, and returning-player recognition. Learn the basic loop and reach reputation 5. Then attempt the general store, an ordinary purchase, and an ordinary lost-crate delivery. Add medallion, risk 50, and the individual seasons once routes are stable.

Save risk 100, blackstone delivery, flamethrower use, all-seasons-in-a-row, and the unknown winter badge for prepared sessions. Death badges are easy to trigger accidentally, but they should not be treated as progression worth sacrificing a valuable streak or item for.

Joining and identity badges

Three badges require no gameplay: joining the game, joining during beta, and having joined the original West Wood before the Remake. These confirm identity and participation, not skill.

Reputation milestones

Reputation milestones appear at 5, 10, 20, and 30. The badge names for 10, 20, and 30 are confirmed. Reputation 5 is not separately named in the badge list, but the progression curve implies it as an early checkpoint. Official descriptions do not state whether reputation affects shop access, delivery eligibility, or threat behavior.

Reach reputation through any combination of contracts, deliveries, and survival that the current interface rewards. Do not assume one activity is faster than another without testing in the current build.

Season survival badges

Four badges require surviving all of a single season without dying: autumn, winter, spring, and summer. A fifth badge requires all four seasons in a row without dying. The API does not publish season order, duration, transition timing, or whether seasons share progress or reset independently.

Use the current season display and confirm the award after each transition. The unknown badge On The Coldest Day Of Winter has the official description ? — its trigger is unknown and should not be chased without a reproducible in-game clue.

Risk milestones

Risk badges trigger at 50 and 100. The official descriptions do not state what raises risk, how it changes gameplay, or whether it affects Beast behavior. Treat a rising risk value as a reason to reduce optional travel, not as a timer with a known formula.

Store and purchase milestones

Three shop badges are officially confirmed: opening the general store, buying an item from the shop, and buying a medallion from the shop. The currency, prices, inventory, and opening requirement are not published. See Shop Progression for current testing notes.

Night delivery milestones

Two night delivery badges are officially confirmed: delivering a lost crate at night and delivering a blackstone crate at night. Crate spawn locations, rewards, and failure conditions are not published. See Night Deliveries for current testing notes.

Beast and item badges

Badges confirm the Beast exists as a killable threat and that the flamethrower is a usable tool against it. Separate badges track deaths caused by the Beast and by a cursed-amulet spirit. These confirm entities and interactions, not flamethrower damage, Beast health, amulet types, spirit AI, or whether death is required for any useful reward.

Progression FAQ

What is the fastest way to gain reputation?

No official speed comparison exists. Contracts, deliveries, and survival appear to contribute, but the exact formula and weighting are not published. Test multiple activities and track badge progress.

Do season badges stack?

The all-seasons-in-a-row badge implies separate season badges exist. Whether starting a new season resets a failed streak or preserves partial progress depends on current beta behavior.

Can I lose progression on death?

Season survival badges require no-death conditions, meaning death resets that specific season streak. Other progression effects of death are not officially documented.

When will progression be complete?

With 23 badges and undocumented mechanics, full completion requires current-server testing for most milestones. A completionist should expect ongoing discovery even after cataloging the known badge set.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many badges are there?

23 enabled badges confirmed by Roblox's badge API for Universe 10598641427, checked August 27, 2026.

What is the rarest badge?

The unknown On The Coldest Day Of Winter badge has no published trigger. Among known conditions, the all-seasons no-death streak is likely the hardest.

Do badges transfer from original West Wood?

The Welcome Back badge tracks original West Wood participation. Progression on other badges does not carry over between the original game and the Remake.

Are more badges coming?

The badge count and API timestamp can change with updates. Check Roblox's badge endpoint after each new build for additions.

What does the flamethrower badge require?

The Use the Flamethrower on the Beast badge requires a flamethrower item, proximity to the Beast, and successful use — not merely possession. Exact trigger conditions need in-game testing.
